LA Kings x CHLA ——My Day with a King Pt.2
Go Kings, go! LA Kings asked to create a 2nd season for their collaboration with CHLA, a series of animated interviews with three patients from the Children’s Hospital, where I developed the creative direction from the initial idea to the final product. The videos are shown on jumbo-screens during the 2023 playoffs LA Kings intermissions.

Same as the previous year, the goal was to stay true to each kid’s unique perspective and create a heartwarming and exciting final product for both the kids and fans. The interviews are held via Zoom and edited into a narrative in collaboration with LA Kings.

LA Kings asked to keep the flow of the narrative, motion and editing the same as the previous season, with a slight change in illustration style. That took us back to the drawing board to create new characters and environments.
